UphillIceIt would have to be a lot better money (assuming the same job satisfaction). I want a job so I can ski, bike, hike, etc. If my job takes me farther away from that, it's unlikely that the extra money will make up for the days missed. After all, outdoor adventures are what I hope to buy in the end anyway.
I imagine this will change in a few years if I end up with a family as I'll need to make sure others are taken care of, but if it's for personal happiness, I think I'm way more likely to be happy closer to skiing than with more money.
KravtZSkiing is a rich mans sport. Unless your planning on living paycheck to paycheck as a ski bum...how could you pass a career advancement for the possibility of no skiing? You don't even know how many hours your going to be working.
