Stuck between skis +K for help

I am a 6'1" 160lb advanced skier. I like to venture off piste, but need a ski that will truly charge on piste as well and am looking at skis from 97-103 underfoot for my all day charger ski that I will be using daily and on a few trips to alta/snowbird and Tahoe this upcoming winter. I ski about 20 days a year mostly southern Utah, but I'll be all over Utah this year (15 day trip). I would demo, but unfortunately I live in Southern California so I'm SOL.


I am looking at the following skis:

In order by my personal preference.


Dynastar cham 97
184 cm
133 - 97 - 113
16m
(These get mixed reviews. I'm not too sure about how they do on piste, some say they ski heavy)


Atomic Ritual
182 cm
137.5 - 103 - 123.5
19m
(Very impressive reviews, but still unsure about powder performance, some say they ski heavy)


Atomic alibi
180cm
132 - 98 - 118
19m
(Haven't heard much about anything other than hard pack)


4frnt Cody/gaucho
179cm
126 - 100 - 124
19m
(I just don't know much about this, some people say it's an amazing ski, but not many ppl ride these.)

(Hard snow performance is not very good from what I have read)

You should get the 4frnt goucho/cody. These will ski hard and soft snow really well. You will be able to charge, but they will be forgiving as well. I know not many people ride these, but they really are one of the funnest all around skis out there

The Chams are really nice.
Plus if you buy them at snowbird they're like 100 bucks off

I'll 2nd this. Also thayne rich from 4f rode them a little bit aside from the devastator and he charged on them and said he liked them

The Chams would be good if you like very stiff aggressive skis. I haven't skied the 97s but have skied the 127s, they are about as stiff and aggressive as skis get. Great skis, but not if you want something playful. I would also go with the 107s over the 97s for you.

I skied the Vantage Rituals and they're great, fun skis. Pretty soft and playful compared to other skis I've ridden.

I haven't ridden the rest so can't comment.

Tst, gaucho, and shreditor are all going to be skis that will do what you want and will charge. Pick one if these and you'll be happy.

Go with the 4FRNT Cody, I skied those 100+ days last season and they were great in all conditions.

Do a little googling, amd pick up a pair of 182 4frnt Turbos.

You'll like the stiffer flex and longer turning radius for charging around.

And you can find new pairs for about $200.

Are the tails very washy on turns? I know that's an issue with the twin tip skis.

Consider the Rossignol Soul 7. If you can get Dyna you can get Rossi. The Soul 7 was championed as exactly what it sounds like you're looking for. The ideal one ski. Suprisingly rideable on piste. Of the lot you posted, the Cham would be my pick. Rossi/Dyna is top quality.
