Was just given an Exakta varex II a... plus Kit

so someone just gave me this camera as well as a zeiss 50mm 2.8, and a 135mm 3.5.... as far as I know this is one of the first SLR's and was produced in the mid 50's? has anyone shot with these things before?

Me! My grandpa let me use one. The 50 is surprisingly sharp. I liked it.

One thing you might wanna check for is dust and specks and such, unless you're into that stuff. I am.

Are they Zeiss Contax? If so they should be pretty good lenses. The Zeiss Contax lenses have some incredible lenses in the set. I just switched over to a Contax kit. I cant speak for the 50mm 2.8 and the 135mm but some of them are truly fantastic. The 35-70 3.5 is said by many to be one of the sharpest zooms in slr lenses. They say it competes with many primes and beats some as well. I just ordered one and am stoked to see if its true.
