LE.SkiingIt's more like gauntlet. I believe the older games had server rooms so it is kind of like WOW I guess but better.
Apparently the PS4 version added the option that if your friends pick stuff up when they are playing they can send you gifts automatically even if you're not playing. also if you're playing with people and they are a demon hunter and say you're a monk. If the item is demon hunter it automatically will go to the demon hunter instead of the monk. It can be a very menu heavy game if you let it.
Dolan.EscobarWhat is it if its not open world?
anti_bunkDiablo, along with all other RPGs and most other games get players hooked by utilizing some basic psychology. These games are designed to feed players delayed, incremental rewards that gradually become smaller and take longer to get. Every level up, quest completed, item drop, monster slain gives you a little reward in your mind. When you first start playing, these rewards are significant (example: your noob sword that did 5 damage before now does 10, doubling its power. but as you go on, they become smaller like say your sword does 100 dmg and you upgrade to 105 damage only a 5% increase)and you are constantly stuck chasing the dragon trying to get all these upgrades and get to a point in the game which will never happen. It's about numbers underneath it all the game simply is about getting people addicted to getting more numbers and stats associated with their character. It really is working on the same addiction centers of the brain that are seen in drug addicts, it's like crack for kids and when parents don't realize wtf is going on in their kids head it's kinda sad actually.
