If you are looking for gear this season, here is an alternative guide that's available for free for iPad and iPhone (sorry, Andriod users, we hope to have a version for you soon but as we don't get paid for this project, finding the time to do this is an issue so don't hold your breath).
It is what it is. It's heavy on custom, semi-custom and obscure brands, and it doesn't cover everyone, or even all the skis that are interesting to the community here. We may have typos or other mistakes. The information may not be useful or helpful for everyone. You may not have an Apple device and may be pissed off that you can't view it (take some beers over to a buddy who owns an iPad and check it out together in that case). And you may not even care. . .
However, we feel that for you gearheads out there, it's an additional source of information that was created for skiers, by skiers and which is free and isn't beholden to advertisers or other influences. We plan to do another one of these next summer, and improve upon this product.
