Steam doesn't mean it's that hot. I mean the fucking shower gives off steam. Especially if it's cool outside.

I mean getting hit in the face with warm water and not having any shampoo is pointless but still not dangerous.

This is very true, it couldve been cooler outside so some moderately warm non scorching water was actually used. But you think those guys in the video would be smart enough to engineer such an interwebs scheme?
