So I tried my first invert on a park jump today, and it didn't go too well. Tried 5, filmed 3, and would appreciate any tips before I try and throw some more tomorrow if anyone can help.
I find it really hard to stop the rotation and kinda feel like I go blind for a bit too.
Don't look up to the sky as soon as you take off, keep your eyes on the landing. Also don't set it exactly sideways, set it a little bit backwards as well, this will counteract the landing backseat issue.
when i Lincoln loop, i keep my eyes set on the landing the whole time. im not sure if this makes sense, but rotation wise, your head should be somewhat in one place and your body should just be moving around it (what im trying to say is no rodeo or misty movements).
overall, those attempts were pretty good, especially if they were your first flip attempts. my main advice is just keep trying. you will eventually land it, and lincoln loops will become a stock trick for you.

Meant to ask what you think about setting with my arm up as I go into the jump? a lot of the vids I've seen people just kind of shrug into it more and do like a side crunch, was wondering if throwing wih my arm so much could be whats rotating me in the other axis a bit?
you're skiing very back seat as well which isn't gonna help things try to make sure you flex into your boots more it'll help your skiing all round
in terms of the trick lincoln is no way near as natural on skis as it is on a tramp for your first invert i'd honestly go for a backie, you've already shown that you have enough rotation, or a front if you're nervous although they are harder. If you still want to get the lincoln down it look likes you need to get a better pop and focus on your landing throughout
First off, you are throwing it right, and you seem to have the right idea, the only problem is your positioning so to speak.
Now for the break down:
You are leaning way to far back, the red line represents your stance. Your skis will be perpendicular to your stance when you go upsidedown
Throwing like that will end you up like this:
The black skis are you, and the red skis are where you want to be. See how your skis match up to how your stance was taking off? You want to be more forward taking off the jump. Think of it like doing Lincoln loops on the trampoline.
Another problem you had was your take off. This is the most important thing you need to fix
Your not popping! You don't want to throw your trick and not pop. From the video, it looks like you where throwing Waaaay to early. Make sure you throw right at the lip, pop straight up, and spin it right around. Your pop will solidify your trick's rotation, and keep you from landing backwards like you were in the video.
Also, be sure to be looking at the landing the whole time

Your first one really wasn't that bad. You were super close. But on you other 2, you didn't look straight out. Other people said look at your landing, I like to look straight out but that's just me. Maybe I'll try to spot my landing more. Usually I just look straight out and then start to spot my landing when coming around. Anyway so you didn't keep your head straight on the last 2 attempts. This is key. If you start to turn your in any way other than straight, your gonna start doing a different trick. That's why you overrotated. Technically you didn't overrotate but actually you were not set properly for a Lincoln
Remember these things:
1. Find a point and focus on it. Try to "spin" around that point you have found in front of you.
2. Bring your right ear to your right shoulder while bringing your knees up and trying to grab a safety with your right arm under your right foot.
3. You should be spinning right now. Keep your head focused on the point. I've seen people take off with good position but then they let go of it then they don't land a Lincoln. They just crash.
4. You should be coming around in an actual "loop" now. Find your landing and open up as nessecary to slow down your rotation so you really don't overrotate.
5. You just landed a Lincoln

I find that being patient helps a lot, don't send it too early. and your arm movement is making you spin a bit wrong, you have to keep it as sideways as possible think of it as if youre doing a cartwheel. just keep your knees slightly bent, don't lean too far back(or else youll land backseat)approach the jump and wait until your front tips are leaving the leave the lip to pop and bring your arm to your body to start the flip, I used to tuck by holding my thighs, which helped a lot when first learning them, anyways just remember
1. be patient
2. don't lean too far back
3. your initial arm swing does most of the work, make sure you do it right.

I would just shrug into it because if you throw you arm up and then throw it in front of or behind your back, you're going to start spinning just a little
Be patient. Don't do that thing with your arm as you throw it too hard and lose your pop. Wait for the lip, pop and lift your legs over your body. Some people say look straight ahead but if you do what you are doing you can learn flatspins which are waaay cooler
As above, hucking it way too hard which is getting you all out of shape.
Consider grabbing japan or safety with the hand in the direction you set it, it will help keep your centre of gravity around the point you're flipping around.

Man that is an exceptionally small jump to be getting upside down on. Respect, also for not just throwing a backy as a first invert like 95% of people do.

even on this "flat 5" (which is actually a rodeo if we're getting nitty gritty) you have no pop which is why you were so close to the ground the whole time. Your trajectory stayed the same due to your lack of pop, this is also why it came around to switch, because generally when you "sling" a lincoln or flat 3 it automatically goes to rode or flat 5 because it continues your body's rotation.
crash reel there, think I just need to pop and not just ride the jump really ha, first two were lincoln attempts others were supposed to be flatspins (or rodeos apparently ha)
I think you need to pop when you take off which will bring your stance slightly forward into a lincoln loop, as you're just rolling off the kicker your stance is going to be a little back seat which is making you go off axis.

Thats what I was thinking. His stance was a bit weird starting from the takeoff.
I havent started doing any off axis or inverted tricks yet, but it looks like you are leaning too far back when you approached the jump. I think you need to put some more pressure on your shins as you approach the jump
