It's basically a carbon copy of Thrasher KOTR. Freeskier really needs to come up with some original ideas because between this and SOTY, it's pretty obvious that they're just copying everything their skateboarding counterpart is doing.

KOTR's been around since 2003 so I'm assuming it came first. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Copying a good idea isn't always a bad thing. Pretty much nothing in this world is original. Trasher didn't invent the scavenger hunt, they adapted it to skateboarding. A scavenger Hunt with skiing is different enough for me. Chill. Newschoolers is built on "stolen ideas" as well.

haha!!! add in the tabernak pack and the bunch and make it a 4 way event and shit would be offfff the chain. This series has/had mad potential, super rad idea but its no fun listening to those lame ass freeskier editors talk. Also hope there is gonna be some more skiing but on the real I hope more RTC's go down in the future- has potential for shit to get reaaal rowdy!

RTC is part of of the new generation of hot doggin history and its a goodish thing its back.

Only problem I see is only having two teams and getting some grittier crews into the mix will never happen. What it boils down to is money. Hood crew is never going to be able to get XX,XXX.XX to be part of RTC, and neither will any other independent less established crew/company.

That being said its a cool idea and looking forward to seeing the rest of the edits. Hope Freeskier can figure out something that will get more team on board.

True that, maybe there needs to be a grassroots dirtbag RTC, bummer that there is no money in the ski industry and freeskier is so prude n childish. If this shit was done a little more Hesh shit would be insane, more teams, better challenges and no editor narration would make for much more entertainment and these vids would be 10X more hilarious and a lot more personality would shine thru. With that being said freeskier did prolly choose the two most entertaining and relevant teams in the industry to be involved in the 13-14 RTC. Another idea would be to do something similar to RTC except just at Hood, tons of challenges and stuff. Could be mad accessible for a bunch of different crews. Maybe newschoolers.com could put it on

who are you referring to here? skiers in general have a huge case of too-cool-itis but i don't think anyone in the two videos so far has exhibited anything like that
