Soul Rider VS B Dog VS FR

So outa the soul rider, b dog, and the FR, I am looking for a ski that is soft, poppy, light weight, and durable. Ive heard great things from the FR so am more leaning towards that. But just wondering what you guys have to say about these three skis. Obviously not much information is known on the b dog.

I ride about 70% rails and 30% jumps, and im 5'7 and 120 pounds. So an 171 maybe?

if you have the money i would definitely go FR. FR has thicker edges, thicker base, and would be much more durable than the armadas. the FRs are buttery yet stable enough to hit jumps. price wise you could always get last years graphic, whereas the bdog will be pretty spendy. good luck man.

go for bdog or fr, in my opinion armada are pretty durable as the FR if u dont hit rock and shit. unfortunately they are pretty expensive!

If I could find any last year FR I defiantly would buy them, but they are all sold out. Leaning more towards FR but just want to know if they are pretty easy to flex or not

I heard Sam Zahner went threw like 5 pairs if those last season. Looking to have the skis for hopefully 2 years

they were designed to be a stable ski, so theyre are a mid flex, but with the rocker it makes them a lot easier to butter.

Im same height as you, same weight, and I picked up a pair of 176 ON3P Jmos this season. I ski 85% park and like 15% groomers/trees and they seem like super solid skis. Id reccomend a the FR in 176 if think you will grow at all any more and even at 5'7 Id say they are a good choice.

okay did they make their protypes extra weak on purpose then? if he blew through 5 pairs in a season did they learn from those mistakes or is he still blowing through pairs? I mean this is all based on hearsay, but still if it's true it'd make you wonder.

anyways FRs man. I used to go through 2 pairs of skis a season. I've been on my FRs for nearly 2 years now, and i've got a few edge cracks, that's it.

Question about the FR though. How light is it? I was just in head caddys which were super light so just wondering. Want something I can move around in pretty quickly.

Not going to be as light as the Caddys, but are either just as light or lighter than the other skis you asked about.

soul riders are pretty light if you pair it with a griffon. have you considered the Rossi Slat? rossi skis are super light

haha pretty sure it was upwards of 8. but they never actually ended up selling the model they were giving him. but they were getting to be better quality the last few pairs

You guys have to realize, Sam Zahner goes hard on skis. If it was an average rider you wouldn't go through as many skis
