K2 Recoils vs. Future spins vs. infamous

You are comparing three very different skis. The recoils are a stiff all mountain/park ski with early rise in the tip and tail, the future spins are a cambered park ski, and the infamous is a soft and playful park ski with early rise.

Do you want early rise? Get the recoil or the infamous... Do you want a soft ski or a stiff ski? Get the infamous for soft and the recoil for stiff

Recoils are the heaviest but definitely the most durable. Future Spins are notorious for their tips to separate. In short, you can expect 2 years out of Recoils but only 1 out of Future Spins.

If you are looking for a soft ski definitely don’t go with the recoils. They are a mid/stiff ski with early rise in the tip and tail. That being said they are bombproof and will do everything you want them to do. They are a great all-mountain ski and carve great on the groomers. And although they are heavier than a lot of park skis and by no means heavy they are quite light in the air.

Future spins are a narrower version of the Chronic. They are softer than the recoil and are playful in the park. If you want a light park-orientated ski that can butter and is fairly stable at speeds the future spin is your best bet.

DOn’t know much about the infamous but here they delam very easily.

Infamous are very poppy and playful and still stable at hi speeds from my experience

For a soft ski from K2, you should be looking at the Domain instead of the Recoil. The Recoil is much stiffer, kind of a park & all mountain hybrid ski.
