When you're editing, do you just kind of grab a random video out of your folder. I have yet to find the best way to put together a smooth edit. +k for any help.

Label clips, makes a huge difference IMO

lay down a song, start dropping clips, find parts of the song you want certain clips, fill in the gaps, laced up a closer

Try and shorten the clips so you don't have this pile of footage before the trick and after, just ruins the mood. Try and ensure music and skiing flows. Use something original, using "The Purge" 20syl remix may be a great song but it's overused. Filler shots can make for some great filling in the breakdown of the song. Avoid cliche shots.

I use Premiere, and I really like using bins. I make one for landed tricks, one for bails, b-roll, lifestyle, etc. Then put in your music, and do what heath said.
