Nessie"How to make a trap beat on Fruity Loops" is how you learned to "produce"
Chubz.Do u dylan fuck the h8rs. Idk why youd come to ns for critiques anyways.
dandersonYou're 100% right. Why would I come here? Lol everyone here still thinks Wu Tang is still relevant.
420...Granted I'm not a huge wu tang band wagon like many others. But I feel like wu tang will always be relevant in the rap game. Kinda like tupac, biggie, Nas and the fat boys. But your shit is garbage. It seriously sounds like you took 10 minutes of your life to download fruity loops to make a fruity beat. It's lame man, its so basic and pretty predictable for the most part. Throw in some different elements like; skill.
CaseyYou probably don't care about my opinion, but both beats were horrible. Just truly irritating to listen to. It got to the point I was hoping you were going to splice in some lil jon vocals to take the focus off these horrendously bad beats.
dandersonConfirmed dusthead.
Caseyboth beats were horrible.
dandersonWell, you were right about one thing.
SFBwhat the fuck is a dusthead?
D-TAYrunsthegameStronger drum presence required, but I can fuck with it.

unknowndeathi bet you think you're relevant
dandersonA person who listens to dust aka all 90's rap as well as some 2000's.
dandersonI single-handedly revived journalism on this site. I don't think I'm relevant; I know I'm relevant, bitch.
Lord_ByronNs is packed with dustheads and kids who jack off to pearl jam. Definitely not the place to discus modern beats or music, unless its on the radio.
Especially modern hip-hop. NS sucks at new rap more than almost anything else it sucks at.
Lucky.haters gonna hate. beats were dope, i'd play em at a club or party. i really liked xanax memories but u need to add a little spice to it to realy add sum bang. like get a couple vocals in it of a guy screaming shit in the background.

TNORTSAs someone who produces I will give some real feedback. Honestly not a bad start if your just gettin into producing. However, sounds like you used a LOT of presets. Spend some time learning sound design and make some of your own sounds. Also your drums are real thin. Do some digging around the internet and spend some serious time looking for good drum samples (beyond just downloading shit that says "TRAP DRUM SAMPLE PACK FREE DOWNLOAD!"). Also don't fall into the trap of making a few layers and then copying and pasting the same 4 bar or 8 bar loop in different places and in different arrangements. It will sound amateur and repetitive 100% of the time. Really spend time listening to your track as you make it and actively think "where should this go next?". I find it helps a lot to listen to a track WITHOUT looking at the screen so you aren't visually anticipating parts coming in. But all in all not bad production for a beginner. Not my cup of tea musically, but everyone's got to start somewhere.
