Summer withdrawls

I fucking love summer. I can easily go through 3 months of no skiing.

just do summer shit , go skateboarding , wakeboarding , golfing , play some tennis get drunk with your friends smoke some weed I don't know but don't just stay at home on NS because that's going to be boring as fuck

Never had a trampoline before, starting to consider buying one at 21. can imagine the expression on my step mums face already when it gets delivered.

there is a million things to do that can remind you of skiing like tramp cliff jumping skate/blading you just have to go out and do it

I may have seasonal depression during the summer. Have always been a winter person. During the summer I'll wax my skis like 10 times, ptex everything and tune then detune the edges. There's no way way it's healthy.

one summer it was 95 degrees out every day so i sat in my basement (only place with a/c in my house) and watched ski videos... for like three weeks straight.

i feel physically sick at the thought i wont be on real snow till late november at the earliest, constantly close to throwing up

my friends and I hiked up Rainier for an hour to find a patch of snow to build a kicker. It was like a 3 1/2 hour drive there.

I tried to build a summer jib set up. Keep in mind that I don't have an actual backyard or at least an area of my yard thats good enough to set something up. So I went to some random lot near my house and tried to set it up there. I spent all day working and got it almost set up in one spot. Then this chinese lady comes out and tells me that area is gonna be turned into a garden. so I picked up everything and left. then I found another good spot that wasn't being used. I spent all afternoon working on making the rail perfect for the spot. I also spent a shit ton of tie hauling dirt and rocks so I could build a jump. I got everything set up and then I tested it. I didn't have enough speed to do anything on the rail. I took a rest and then the next day I tried setting up in a different spot behind some random apartments near my house. I spent a bunch of time and hard work setting up the spot. the people in the apartments were looking at me thinking wtf is this kid doing. I go to test out the rail. It was intense because the apartment dwellers were watching. I test out the rail. and I can't get enough speed to make it more than halfway across the rail. I messed up with the turf because i didn't put enough water on the turf.

Short version: I wasted a weekend trying to set up a summer jib set up that was sketchy, embarrassing, and didn't even work

i considered buying fake plastic snow to make a pseudo ski slope

Also I miss summer too. Haven't even gone swimming since maybe last august. Waking up to cold, having to work in snow. Please come back summer I miss you!
