I adopted the vegan lifestyle almost a year ago now and I'm loving it. Why not change your lifestyle to benefit yourself, the environment, and animals. Any other vegans on ns?
>do you have trouble finding vegan ski stuff?

louie.miragsHonestly, if you do not not want to eat meat that's all you.
If you want to help the enviorment and you have a problem with factory farms, shop local. The summer time is full of farmers markets. That way you can buy farm fresh meat, where they do not touture the cows. And the meat is 100x better for you since the cows eat grass like they're supposed to (research why there is plenty on the interwebz why grassfed is better).
Plus the veggies aren't GMO'd to fuck.
You should really be upset with corporations ruining our food. Not meat eaters.
snobunnywhen you adopted your lifestyle, did you also do away with any object you own that uses animal byproducts? Clothing, furniture, etc.?
don't visit me, op, this is my living room (black cat is alive).
yes i did away with all my non vegan things
meth_maneggs are chicken abortions which is gross
meth_manis shooting deer in the face really fun? its insane for people to freak out about someone beating a dog but theyre ok with grinding up a pig for a hot dog or killing a deer for fun.
WordupVTThis is possibly the dumbest comment I have ever seen. I love how all you vegan crazies always claim we are "shooting deer for fun"....
If we did not have a hunting season up here in the Northeast, deer and other animals would over populate very quickly. This means they would slowly deplete all food sources in colder months and die terrible slow deaths, along with being devoured by predators. Is that what you want? Slow, painful deaths of these beautiful animals?
Most true hunters around here can kill deer/other game in one shot. The deer never even knew what hit it. We do not laugh and leave the deer there either. We take it with us and eat it, enjoying every bite of sausage and steak it has to offer, and we are thankful the deer gave its life for us to enjoy.
Now please, stop thinking you are making a difference by choosing to go vegan.
That is all.

hey-dude-its-meyou're still fat right?
not a vegan but a vegetarian for 3 years now, I don't buy milk, eggs, or cheese but I don't go crazy trying to avoid products made with them.
if you look at the other thread its basically the same exact people saying the same exact thing. I dont know where they get the motivation or why they even care what other people are eating to begin with but none of them seem very content.
hey-dude-its-meI just don't know why you always have to comment on every single thread about the subject, especially when ur automatically disqualified from any discussion of diet/health/excercise. I don't hate you but I am mildly disgusted by you, you're a young man like me but you just made a ton of bad decisions and consistently ignored the consequences of those decisions and now every single first impression you will ever make will be "he's fat"

not a vegan but a vegetarian and a flaming homosexual for 3 years now, I don't buy milk, eggs, or cheese, just goat and sometimes human semen. But I don't go crazy trying to avoid products made with them. Except the semen.

P.S. Down with the Jews.
Granite_Statehey-dude-its-me:
Granite_StateEhh most people would not enjoy grass fed beef. It is super lean and therefore super chewy. What you want is grass fed grain finished beef. Thats what gives you a little bit of fat, aka more flavor aka less chewy. There is nothing wrong with a cow eating grain, its corn that cows aren't supposed to eat. Their bodies cannot digest it properly.
I work for a business that does this. We have the first mobile slaughtering unit in the northeast. We go to farms and slaughter on sight. The animal is as relaxed as possible. Pretty much the most humane way to slaughter.
My father is a partial vegan (don't know the exact term). He will eat fish, but besides that its all soy a tofu. Personally I think you should eat lean red meat. It is good for you (not the supermarket bullshit, that stuff is pumped full of antibiotics and hormones). Get farm fresh quality meats and you're golden. Plus they are finding out soy is not as beneficial as they once thought, and most soy products you eat are most likely GMO's...considering Monsanto practically owns the soy industry...
meth_manya'll just jealous, i suggest to all of you reading the china study. thats if you guys can read/comprehend it lololl

snobunnyI'm still waiting on a valid reason for not eating eggs.
louie.miragsI love grass fed beef! It's all personal taste but I eat a lot of grass-fed ground beef and it taste so good.. Let's face it I can't afford to eat steaks daily. I will still eat any steak a restaurant sells for example I'm not pushy about it. I just like to hit farmers markets when I can. I like the gamey taste and consistency of grassfed. And the reasons grass fed is better is for the omega-3 fatty acids. Less bad fats and more heathly fats in case anybody is wondering.
