Titus69Hes right, subarus arent that good, I spoke with a rally driver this summer about it and how the late 90s to early 2000's would just corrode. Also Volvo is clearly Italian :)
JibbaTheHuttvolvo is swedish dipshit.
Randy_Quenchsays the german car owner who has never owned a subaru/other japanese car.
Granite_StateI don't think he's the dipshit on this one pal...

wepresidentnow^that is a massively shitty car for 15k...over 100k? german? nope, nope, nope.
you plan on driving this piece daily?
KBoneits under 10k ... i also found an 07 x3 with 92k for 10500... I'm waiting on pictures to decide.
.MASSHOLE.The maintenance costs on those will be rather high.

wepresidentnoware you implying high mileage used german cars aren't reliable?
*DUMBCAN*BMWs are reliable, but replacement parts are expensive compared to cheaper cars. It's a tradeoff though, BMWs tend to drive really well.
KBonedo you have experience with a bmw or are you just saying in general... I've talked to a few people who have drove there bmw's close to 300,000 miles

KBoneyes I've read countless online revues about the x3, the parts may seem expensive to replace but in the long run there are less parts that will need to be replaced so it probably evens out... the x3 is said to have unbelievable amour of grip cornering and out performs almost any other suv.

snobunnyreally? the x3 out performs almost any other SUV? you must mean out of little/compact SUVs.
snobunnyI meant that the reviews you are looking at aren't comparing it to other full size SUVs...just other SUVs in the same class.
Have you seen an x3 and x5 side-by-side?
snobunnyI'm not hating on your choice, though. There isn't anything i don't like about X3s, your stat just caught me off guard.
Also, Blue book for a 2007 x3 with 92k miles in good condition without any add-ons is 12,5 ...I'd be wondering why they are priced low. It looks like in the reviews they are hit or miss..either people love them, or they never leave the shop. If its priced under BB for no apparent reason I'd have a mechnic check it out and ask for shop records.
KBoneHas anyone drove( driven? docent sound right) and audi a3 after looking at them i have found several mid 50,000 to upper 60,000 for around 12 -13,000 and i found one s line manual tranny with a ton of mods for 13,000 but it has 108,000 miles on it... i hate car shopping
.MASSHOLE.It is driven. Does it have the air suspension like the A8? Because if so, it usually goes around at mileage and apparently is very costly to fix. My dad had the A8L until a few weeks ago and decided to trade it in while it still had value rather than pay to get a new suspension.
And you think BMWs are pricy to fix? Stay away from these.
You don't seem to factor in the costs of maintenance. Get a car that won't end up costing 50% of your initial purchase price to maintain.

KBonei understand that components are expensive to replace but I'm not too worried as a very close family friend is a mechanic and i have read countless reviews that although expensive once replaced the parts will last.
Titus69My uncle has a VW Phaeton (vw's a8) and he has had s ton of problems. Its amazing to drive I drove it on windy back roads in the middle of nowhere in maryland. Its really damn comfortable and handles the turns well but they were on flat roads but could hit a hairpin at 50mph or more if you hit the apex. Theyre awesome but not to reliable
Granite_StateThe Phaeton is more like Audi's S8 (newer ones). That car is capable of 200mph without breaking a sweat. I'm pretty sure it has a W12. Plus the luxury items inside rival if not surpass those of an S8. Phaetons are really amazing cars and are super rare. I saw one at Wolfsgart last year and it was crazy. Your uncle is a lucky man.
