nick_monteleoneI am looking for a park binding that is durable and will last me a couple of seasons. Last season I had Salomon Z-10s and I broke them pretty badly, so what bindings will last? I was thinking about Rossignol Axials or some type of Marker bindings. +k for helpful answers
wawa_iceteathe Z-10's are good im using them now. Markers will last you forever but they are expensive as hell. If you have the money markers if not get the Z-10's again
NotThatNaturalmarker bindings are shit IMO.
CharlieTurchettaDepends how hard you go in the park. If you are sending doubles or doing triple kink 450 disasters then all bindings will brake eventually and relatively soon. if you go average or a little above average than the metal markers (idk the name) are the way to go. I broke the plastic marker griffons and the guy at the shop recommended the metal ones but I haven't got them yet.
NegromancerNeed to know weight, height and ability before any recommendations can be made.
nick_monteleoneI am 5' 5'' and I weigh 128lbs does that help?
TheDetectivesanything that has a higher din usually is going to be more durable, pivot 14's are strong, but the 18's are stronger with an all metal design, same with the ffg or sth, in the higher din they are stronger and most likly metal
tomPietrowskiIt's a start yes. also answer how old you are, how long you have skied, what din you usually ride an the type of skiing you do.
Espen519Hey not my thread, but are Look pivot 12 durable? Or should I look more at pivot 14?? 145 and 5'10 , for park skis
tomPietrowskiThey will both be good and durable wit decent brakes in terms of switching them out. if you are not riding 10 or above I would not bother wit the 14. They are heavy though so you may like something a little lighter better although weight is not a huge issue with bindings.
tomPietrowskiYou do realise they are the number one bindin manufacture world wide. like every brand not every binding will suit everyone. My mum could not ride a sth16 just as I can't ride a z10 it does not make either binding bad it just show you need an appropriate binding which is why we nee the op to give more info before we can suggest anything.
NotThatNaturalYeah I know that, but imo I don't really like them.
tomPietrowskiAny particular reasons? Obviously just saying they are shot does not help people. If you are going to post, at least give some information as to why you do not like them. That way your posts may actually help others.
NotThatNaturalI don't like the way they look and the construction of them. a friend of mine went through 1 pair of squires and 1 pair of griffons this season.
Profahoben_212You bash them and say they were shit because you don't like the look? Are you fucking serious?
And the squires are a child's binding, and have durability on par with the z series. I'm not surprised they broke at all.
What exactly did break on the griffons?
tomPietrowskiWe'll really you would be best on a 10 din binding but seeing how you are young an will grow you could go for a 12-13 din binding. I would have a look at the peak 11, attack 13 or if you have a bit more money to spend you could get the sth2 13. They are all great bindings. Axial could also work but are very heavy so of someone smaller I would avoid them same with the fks. Griffons could be a good option but personally I would go attack 13 or a griffon as the stack height is lower on the attack. Hopefully that gives you some ideas.
nick_monteleoneThanks for all the help +k for sure, but I just have one last question. I'm debating if I should get the attack 13s for $132 or the Salomon STH 10s for $99. Is it definitely worth the extra money for the attack 13s?

tomPietrowskiYeah don't get the sth 10 tht is not actually an sth. It has the z10 heel and toe. Attacks will be great.
