Center mount help?

so i recently bought line future spins and noticed the center mount line is actually not in the center. is it supposed to be like this? I definantly want my bindings mounted in the center so this is sort of important to me.

that is the center of the sidecut most likely, either that or a topsheet misprint. You have to measure the skis to get true center

Pretty sure Wskier is correct. If the skis are symmetrical then it's a misprint, but if the skis are not symmetrical then the line is most likely correct, but at the center of the sidecut, not the center relative to length.

That is the center of the sidecut. Future Spins are not symmetrical and Line only puts the boot center marking. The best way to avoid a miss mount is to measure it out yourself and draw a line.

They're supposed to be mounted 4cm back. Shoulda bought a symmetrical ski.

If you truly do want them centered make it as obvious and easy as possible for the shop to see. Draw your own line on a piece of tape that you have measured to be the true center of the ski. It helps to flip one ski upside down and find the middle of the two sidecut center lines to double check your measurements.

Remember there are two ways to find center Measuring and balancing. For a non symmetrical ski I like to fin the weight center rather then just measuring. Put a finger under te ski an find the point where the ski balances evenly. This is the weight center so the swing weight will be the same for the tip and tail. This point will often be just slightly behind the measured center as on non symmetrical skis the tail will usually be narrower. This is the way I have done m skis for years and have mounted quite a few pros setups this way too.

This, alot of times -1 or so back from the true measured center will be on or close to the weight center as you said which will make the ski ride symmetrically. The 1 cm or so back will not be noticable either if the weight is correct. Alot of people with Armadas for example (myself included on a pair of T-Halls I had) mount this way since their skis are not symmetrical.

Yeah it will b slightly infrint of the measured mark but only slightly. I like that method best for non symmetrical a you balance the ski better.

I always do the my skis the balance way. It just make more sense I think. You are so close to the measured line it probably won't feel differnt but I like to know the ski is balanced perfectly. As I said this is how I mount most skis at center.
