TheSeaCaptainI just watched the video. Im too stupid to embed on mobile, but ward is an imbecile. Sad that hes dead, but the dude froggers across the track while cars are all still moving. Just cause he's butthurt.
lineskier10wow that is fucking nuts, definitely the dude who died is at fault here but tony stewart may be too, i dont think anyone but tony stewart will ever know whether he tried to hit him or avoid him though, and you cant really punish him for that if he tried to avoid the guy, this is why you dont walk out onto a race track to be a tough guy when there are race cars flying around it

hey-dude-its-mefan=biased
tried to scare him, killed him. pretty obvious
.frenchyfan= we know about Tony Stewart, we know how walking into a race track mid-race is stupid, we know Tony wouldn't kill someone over a SPRINT CAR race.
hey-dude-its-mewould he say fuck you to someone? bc thats what he was trying to do, nobody thinks he wanted to kill the guy. biased and dumb.
JenniferGarnerYou can tell who are the people that don't know shit about sprint car racing... they're the ones posting that they think either Stewart did it on purpose, or tried to "scare" him and accidentally hit him. This is another prime example of why people and the media can be pieces of shit.
Tony pushed him off line the lap before, something that is common in sprint car racing. The kid got hot-headed and instead of staying in his car as he well knew growing up racing and was told to do so in his earpiece by the track officials (if they didn't, the officials can expect legal action).
The right-side of the cars are completely blind to the drivers due to, in simplistic terms, how the car is setup. Hold your right arm out ahead of you, then hold it to the 2 o'clock position, that's their field of vision. Since the very tame crash happened the lap before, of which Tony was ahead of him and could have very easily not have known he pushed him off line and into the wall. Again, contact like this is very common and doesn't always result in people going into the wall. This happened the next lap, he did not lap around to see him in the track.
When you're driving, you are not watching out for random people on the track, you're watching the car in front of you. With all that said, on top of him wearing black and being an idiot wandering around so far out on the track, it's very clear he did not see him until it was too late. When he saw him, that's when he accelerated. When sprint cars accelerate, they go LEFT, not right. After you're done accelerating, they can veer right but that's not what happened here. The acceleration power on those cars is hard to comprehend but in the video, it clearly shows he accelerated to move the car away from the person in the track.
It's really shitty this happened because the dude who died was an awesome kid but he made a stupid, fucking idiotic decision. Sprint cars have been taking heat for the safety even though they're ahead of the curve relatively speaking. The media wants ratings so of course they'll take advantage of the ignorance and make up a story. The sheriff and top officials know he did not intend to do this and no, he decided not to race today.
Long story short: If you think he had any intention to scare or hit this kid, you're a moron with zero knowledge about sprint cars and you should shut the fuck up. It's an unfortunate situation and hopefully changes are made to ensure dumb asses don't get out of their vehicles because they want to make a show of how angry they are. This happens more than you think and it's only pure luck that someone wasn't killed sooner.
hey-dude-its-meLol the white trash crew is here now, sweet.
Proving the bias claims.
.frenchyyes, because watching a sport makes someone "white trash"
You're a fucking moron.
Dr._Alan_GrantNot a NASCAR fan or racing fan for that matter, but I'm aware of Stewart's reputation. That being said, assuming that Tony Stewart would purposefully kill a man because he has a reputation as an asshole is a pretty gigantic jump.
I really feel for everyone involved, especially Ward's family.
ChrisMcCandlessHey you has to just be acting as a devils advocate. I hope.
.Hugo.He's a troll, and a really really bad one at that
hey-dude-its-meLet's be honest u only replied bc of the white trash comment which u also inadvertently fell under
U guys have no balls that's why u don't understand a guy like tony Stewart. I could easily see myself doing the same exact thing he did and I don't think my temper is even half the size of his. I can even imagine that feeling when that hits u when u instantly regret what you've done after you've boiled over. Who the fuck is naive enough to assume something Is a coincidence anyway just in general.
I really don't think anyone in here honestly believes it was purely an accident. Instead they provide an illogical argument that implies the punishment for stupidity should be death. Saying shit like "you don't look for people on the track" yea except for in cauaton a when ur supposed to be excercising you know, caution, on the second lap around near the site where u caused the accident.
And the diehard fans in here should check out some off your own blogs/websites, it's pretty much a 50/50 split even with that bias.

Personal insults might take away from my argument but it's funny to me and at least they're accurate.
TheSeaCaptainYou are such a fucking idiot and an awful troll. You've been entirely proven wrong by individuals who actually have working knowledge of these cars and this racing discipline, but you're maintaining you're idiotic campaign. And as for your bias claim, it's clear you're too stupid to read because the most well-informed opinion of this thread had no dedication to Stewart or NASCAR. So shut the fuck up, it's clear you have zero clue what you're talking about and now you've trolled yourself into a corner.
hey-dude-its-meYou don't even know what proof is but somehow I'm the dumb one. General rule of thumb; newschoolers always gets it wrong.
