So I'm putting a pair of squires on an old pair of skis I have laying around to use to beat up either in my backyard or while hitting urban. I did some research and the mounting template is the same as the griffons and jesters. So I printed it out, found the center point lined up the toe template which is all good, but I don't understand how you use the heel template (there are two pieces of paper to the template heel and toe) there are boot sizes with tick marks but i dont know how to match them up. If someone knows how to line it up that'd be great!!! I'll put some pictures in but I'm on moble right now. It's hard because there are no directions with the template when you print them out.
Do them separately. Toe template on, mark holes (pin, nail, screw, centre-punch, etc) then remove. Heel template on, mark holes then remove. Final check with the binding sitting on your marks before drilling, then drill away.
^both the toe and heel template havr te bsl on that scale in the middle. You want to line up the corresponding line for you bsl on both templates with the mount point on the ski. So say your boots are 305mm line up 305mm on the toe template to the mount point you are using you can then mark those holes and line up the heel piece. If this is sliding too complicated just have a shop do it. Do you know how to adjust the bindings after they are mounted btw?
