tomPietrowskiThey will be very soft for you. I have the 186 and they are soft for me and I only weigh 165. At speed I find them a little unstable an they flap so you weighing over 100lbs more will find them way too soft I would think. Which skis have you used I the past that you like the flex of. That will help us advise and recomend some appropriate skis.
For what it is worth, you got a pair with a season of demo use and are definitely in the minority about thinking they are super soft.
I would describe them as medium-stiff relative to comparable skis, and I think most would agree. You could also just ski a lot harder than most. I weight more than you and don't consider myself a bad skier and have never been uncomfortable at speed on either the 181 or 186 jmo.
As for the OP, you are on the heavier side so I don't think there would be a disadvantage at looking at something wider and a bit stiffer. If you had come to ON3P looking for a ski, I would have suggested the 186 Jeffrey over the Jmo as they have more stiffness and width underfoot. Compared to skis in their length and waist range, the 186cm Jmo is going to be as or more stable than most. I can't think of any skis that are ~186cm, ~100mm underfoot, rockered tip and tail, and jib oriented that are going to be more stable.
My biased 2 cents anyway...
