well everyone complains about obnoxious kids at their hill and attitudes, here is something positive:
I rode for the first time this season on friday. I just got into freeride last year, and frankly, I suck. I can do 3s over 30 ft tables and under, but that is about it. I SUCK at rails, tried 2 last year, that's it. So this year I decided I was going to work on my rails. First day out there is a beautiful 10-ft flat. I proceed to crash about 7 times (not a joke, I have no balance :) . At this point I am pretty embarrased that I suck bad, when a couple of snowboarders sitting there say 'yo man, you've got some balls. I wouldn't try that on skis if I were skiing' then say 'wow, that was pimp' when my friend does a regular slide to switch on a kink. Really nice kids on the hill and I love it. I am sorry everyone else's experience has sucked, but look for the positive :)
I dream of winter.
