Hey Newschoolers. Many of you saw MK's post about adding new members to the NS group chat, and I personally don't think his explanation did the chat any justice.
I've been on NS for well over 3 years now. I used to be a very active member on the NSG, Sell/Trade, WTB, and Media & Arts forums, however, recently I've been on NS much less often. I posted on here about a year ago asking to make a group chat using the app "Whatsapp" and received a pretty solid response. Within a week the chat was up to 30 members.
Over time many of those members left the chat or simply went unresponsive for months and were subsequently booted from the chat. I have yet to kick someone out of the chat for any other reasons. Today, the group is 11 strong, and quite frankly is one of the coolest experiences I've had in my time. Here's a little summary of what has happened thus far.
-Secret Santa
-Drunk selfies
-Drunk chat
-Nudes (yes, actually, although there are only 2 girls in the chat now and if you join only to post "nudez pls" you will be kicked out)
-Workout advice
-NS member Krotch (this should be more than enough motivation for all of you to join the chat)
-Various arguments usually ending in NS member -MK- being shit on simply because he is the youngest member of the chat
-Conversations with fellow members who're currently tripping balls
-Several meetups
-Sweet deals on ski gear
-Incredible photography
Long story short, we're just a group of random people from all over the U.S. and Canada with one thing in common - we love skiing. If you love skiing too, and would be down to join our miniature NS family, download the app, pm me your username, and I'll add you.
All I ask is that you be respectful, have been on NS for more than a year, and you must be at least 17 years of age. Word!
