Please, make taller skis.
Everywhere I look for a nice park ski, they usually stop at 182cm.
As a taller guy who likes longer skis, this really sucks.

What brands/skis should I check into for next season?
I rode the ON3P Filthy rich last winter at 186cm, easily the most fun ski I've ever had, but with the shipping + price (+ that they only lasted me a season) = I wanna try something else.

I centered up a 4FRNT cody in 186, been having a ton of fun in the park on that! A few other dudes around here have been using their 84 devastators in the park too. Take a look, may be a good fit for you.

Well I haven't personal ridden batalla skis but I'm picking up a pair. Heard nothing but good things. They have the all mtn twin which I've heard kills it in park and the whole mountains in a 186 for $520. Durable as heck from what I understand that's why I'm picking up a pair

Rather then looking at sizes maybe look at the buil instead. If you go full camber and stiff you may find you don't need to go as longer. Soft jib skis yes you will want longer but you may find that the 180-185 range works fine if you fin the right ski.

Shreditor 92. They only go to 184 but they're K2s so the 184s are the equvilent of nearly 190 from any other manufacturer.

yeah ive been wondering why park skis are so short nowadays (they didn't used to always be), i use low 180s cause that's my height and im not even close to what you'd consider a big guy

There just is not the demand to make it worth while for the manufacturers. In the park bigger skis will just be heavier which is not ideal so rather then going longer you may be better going for a stiffer ski which will give the same stability as a longer softer ski. that was what I was trying to explain above.

oh yeah what you said is completely right

i'm just saying that as a very medium dude, i feel like if i was a few inches taller and a couple dozen pounds heavier i wouldn't be satisfied with the lengths around, even if theyre stiff and full cambered. 185ish skis with rocker can feel like snowblades

but what you said about cost/demand sounds right to me too

Tompiotrowski may be right, but after having a pair of 186's I don't wanna go back to shorter skis. I understand that its a demand issue but at the same time a small company like ON3P make park skis up to 186 and powder up til 192cm.

As a tall and skinny guy the stiffer ski-principle isn't really working.
Making a pair of skis 5cm taller can't be that big of an problem for a big manufacturing company like lets say Armada? It would be interesting to get some knowledge in the subject.
