NSers up at UNR/Reno?

hey guys, I'm gonna be a freshman up at UNR this school year and was wondering if any of you on newschoolers are reno or at the university. it seemed a freeski club was nonexistent, and I figured it'd probably be better to ask on here. so yeah, if any of you are up in reno and wanna ski hit me up.

Ski club is having resurgence this year for sure! I'm not on it but the free ski kids are always skiing together at northstar. They don't really do comps just a bunch of homies smashing around. I'm graduating this year but will still be around. UNR is low key one of the most underrated ski colleges.

Tanner-DUNR is low key one of the most underrated ski colleges.


seriously tho, I always see people recommend places in utah and colorado, but no one ever mentions UNR. I ski 2-4 days a week and all the mountains are 40-90 minutes away.

Yup nye hall is the shit. The no AC only matters for a month and communal bathroom are so nice....they are cleaned every morning. It super social in there and everybody leaves their doors open. At first I was pissed about nye but now I love it. Same with pretty much everybody that lives there.

if you get a window fan it's super bearable too. nye is definitely one of the more social halls. I had a friend in argenta and it was a ghost town most of the time.
