My brother Ryan, an NS Moderator on here was recently hit by a truck while biking home from work. The truck driver drove off without rendering any assistance as my brother laid in the intersection.
Out of it all his upper arm was broken in two places, he cracked a rib and got a fairly major concussion to boot.
The reason I'm posting on his behalf is that he can't. And I wouldn't be posting at all if he wasn't wearing his helmet. The doctor made it quite clear that if he wasn't wearing it he would be dead.
The point of this post is simple: WEAR YOUR FUCKING HELMETS
It's so simple to do and even better is that pretty much everyone does now. The sad part is that I still see lots of people on bikes and on the ski hills wearing nothing.
