Kitten factory?

so kitten factory is supposed to drop their new website today but for me it isnt working.... idk if its just my computer or not. has any one had any experiences riding kitten factory skis? i plan on buying the rayzrblaydz once the site is up!

We posted earlier that we had "found out the same way you did". While that was true, we pulled the post so that we could be fair to Sam. Shortly after we found out, we heard from Sam, who let us know that this was not supposed to be made public before he discussed it with us. We wish him all the best going forward.

I really liked how on the website they have a demo section where it says they'll fill out when the season starts rolling around but they should go to Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, and I think California. At least that's how it showed on mobile. The whole carbon deal seems cool though and it would be sick to try them out.

Yeah, I checked the website after I posted that. It looks like they offer free demos at their factory in SLC, I'll definitely be doing that this winter.

The guys are ridiculously nice, and I would certainly suggest making it into the factory to pick up demos at some point this season. Both pairs I've ridden have been totally on point performance wise.

I definitely will, I hope they'll let me pick them up the evening before so I don't have to miss the first few hours. They sound like great people so I'm sure we can work something out.

Definitely swing by once the season gets going and try some out! We are pretty lenient with locals taking our skis out midweek and the 9:30-5 hours on our site are a lie. We're always here pretty late so it's not a problem for people to pick some skis up after they get off of work in the evening. This is actually preferable to us as well because there is no chance we will be at the factory at 9 AM on a pow day.

Last year was my first year riding Kittys and also the first time a pair of skis didnt break on me during the year.... Pow and Park skis are both a blast... Atleast give em a demo... You wont be dissapointed!Also feel free to hit me up with any questions you have I will try and answer as non biased as possible!

We'll have weights listed on the site shortly. Rayzrblaydz in a 183 cm length weigh in at 8.3 lbs for the pair.

I have only held and flexed jmos and have never seen a j ski before but I'll do my best to point out some general differences for you. Firstly, the All Mountain is the widest of the bunch at 105 mm underfoot. From what I have heard, j skis are fairly soft and jmos are a more medium-medium/stiff flex. The All Mountains are very stiff throughout the camber section, pretty stiff in the tail, and a medium/stiff tip. The All Mountain also has the longest turn radius and is probably the most stable at speed. It has a full carbon fiber layup which makes it about 600 grams lighter than the jmos. The carbon fiber construction makes the skis much more torsionally stiff than a traditional fiberglass ski, so the all mountains hold an edge very well and are super quick edge to edge. We use a 1.4 mm base with a 2.1 mm edge on our carbon skis to save weight. Both ON3P and J skis use a 1.8 mm base and 2.5 mm edge, the same we use on our park skis.

Pretty much what it comes down to is what you would be using the ski for. If you are just cruising around the mountain, our All Mountain ski is dope and an insanely good deal at the pre-order pricing for the next few weeks. If you are skiing park and hitting rails, it may not be the best choice. If you are skiing park, look into our Rayzrblaydz as it is a more comparable ski to the other two options. The construction of our Rayzrblaydz is very similar to ON3P but the added carbon fiber makes the skis more poppy and lively and they wont lose their camber or pop nearly as quick as most park skis. Another nice difference between our skis is we use are now using a textured nylon topsheet that is much more durable and more resistant to scratching and chipping. Hope this helped some.

no that means they can give me a pair of kartel 106's as a destructive ski tester. At 5'11 and 220-230lbs every ski I have owned in the past 5 years has vibrated apart and delamed under a season(head in 10 days,armada in 40,k2 in about the same time as armada, nordica in 20)


I have also demoed carbon pows from kitten factory for free factory direct and they are the lightest skis I have ever rode.
