Anyone else use a flip cell phone?

Yeah I use a flip phone. It's cheap as hell and I can still communicate.

My Problem: I bought a Rugby 3 this May before heading to Alaska. Have owned a rugby 2 for last 3 years (multiple phones) and it was great.
Didn't get the memo that rugby 3 suck balls. Terrible audio and connection.
Any other people here who have non-smart phones can make some recommendations on cell phones. something semi durable with good audio and connection.

To all the fools who are gonna tell me to get a smart phone, my parents don't sponsor me so I can't afford it.

Profahoben_212I really don't think it's worst the extra $500 a year to surf insta. I would rather spend that on a new set of skis.

I have an iPod that I can do the same things with, hell even text with if I wanted to, wherever there is wifi. So I don't really see the reason to pay the extra money.

it didnt backfire actually... It showed there there is actually a good number of people who have a flip phone, including me

maybe he has a flip phone because the battery lasts longer then a day (unlike your iphone) and he isnt so obsessed with social media that he needs to be constantly surrounded by it. Perhaps he prefers to be aware of his surroundings instead of having his eyes glued to a phone. Im so tired of going on a date, or out with friends and you cant have a conversation because they are too preoccupied with checking facebook or taking pictures of their food for instagram.

And you can talk to people the exact same way that you can talk to people on a smart phone, trust me

Your 100% right sideshowbob. I really have no one to talk to cause I'm always doing stupid shit like swimming in glaciers or hanging out on the tops of mountains. Good god I'm lame. I should just get smart phone so I can be cooler like you SSB.

I've had the same Samsung flip phone for a long time now, maybe 8 years or so. New phones are bigger and the cost for data etc is unending. With the cost of gas etc. I just don't get why so many skiers shell out for smarty phones.
