my school doesn't allow us to use or even have phones on us on campus, which i think is bullshit. What are the rules at your school fellow nsers?? are they equally tedious??
Seeing that kids only use there phones in the bathroom, lunch or walking to class it doesnt matter unless its some family emergency and you need immediate contact. Just carry around if you dont use it in the teachers view youll be fine
I've never ever had an issue with the school and it's phone policy, just don't be dumb about it. Do your school shit and then use your phone, it's really pretty simple..
well i can tell you that phones in the work place make you look like a tool. there's nothing worse than a health care provider more concerned with their phone conversation than their patient.
maybe they're just preparing you for the real world and to not have to rely on mindless entertainment and conversations every few minutes...

i don't get caught (mainly because i usually don't use it), but this one teacher got in a ton of trouble for lifting up a girls shirt to take her phone.
420...Don't do it in school. Most jobs don't allow you to text during the jon either. It's life.
Where do you work? We definitely don't have rules about texting on the jon here. I'm glad my work is pretty cool. The building I work in also has stall doors in the jon which is another thing to be grateful for.
We are aloud during breaks and lunch, however sometimes we have 45 minutes reading periods. So i went with this technique. In a year and a half, i didn't got caught once.

The fact that you went that far because you couldnt go without your phone for 45 minutes is incredibly pathetic

was gonna say you really could have benefited from that reading period, but you're from QC so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and guess you're French.

I'm actually gonna give you props because this is actually nifty
Most of my friends in high school also went to high school so if I needed to talk to my high school friends I'd be like "Yo. High school friend" and we'd talk and I wouldn't need to text them fucking young kids these days get me some prunes
I would just put it on my lap. Whenever someone asked me what I was doing I either said checking the southern region for cancer or looking at a rash I had down there. No one ever questioned it.
In my school it's all depending on the teacher, some lets you do whatever you please during class (being on ns, phones, snacking) and some have a strict see phone, take phone for rest of the day policy.
Phones suck and costs money, talk to some new people instead.

I really don't understand the need to constantly be on your phone for whatever reason. Life is happening just outside of that little screen and so many people spend so much of their time just focusing on it. Meet some real people, have a real, deep conversation with them. Feels so much better... Of course phones are good for killing time and so on, but still. Especially in school, there should be so many people of the same age and interests out there that you could interact with.
Nothing wrong with using the phone during class though, I totally understand that!

"Dear norton, you were right. Salvation lies within..."
Mr.Sloth
This cant be real...
also banning phone use is silly. They are a great tool for learning these days. Youve got wiki, youtube, and nsg to name a few educational resources

Shawshank'd
And jesus. If I ran a school I'd probably ban them too. Phones can access a bunch of information but if people are looking at videos of cats and texting their friends about stupid bullshit they're a hindrance to getting learned.
And lol high school. Suck it up. High school blows, and then you get out and move on with your life.
People need to realize there's more to life out there.
