What activity have you done over the summer so far to cope without skiing?? I've done a bunch of mtn biking and drysloping. I have also done some hikes up near rainier and built some kickers.

Just picked up longboarding, super fun and actually quite easy as long as you commit and aren't afraid to have a few spills. I got coleman slides within 20 minutes of riding, and in 5 days of riding I can commfortably ride at 20mph+ and do 30 foot slides, and do pendys to speed check. Next for me is toeside slides and stand ups. Highly recommend it, great way to kill a couple hours whenever you're board.

And then there's the classic tramp sesh, golfing, fishing, swimming, hanging with friends.
