Replying to Torn Labrum

Tore my labrum at the end of last winter and due to shitty doctors they assumed it was a minor injury and sent me to pt for the past few months. I have learnt to live without a functioning labrum but after a recent mri it looks like surgery is the only way to fix my shoulder. Has anyone else had any experience with this sort of injury or the surgery that will take place to reconstruct it? Is there anything I can do in preparation for the surgery? How long is the recovery? Could I get medical marijuana for this? Would this surgery majorly affect jerking off as it is on my dominant arm (right)? Will I get a cast for bitches to sign?
