Is high school really like seniors pick on seniors and a lot of parties with alcohol and weed? Or are they just stereotypes? I am in 8th grade going into high school next year.

And I'm pretty new to ns so it'd be Kool If you throw some karma my way

In my High School this two undercover cops came to my school there real names were Schmidt and Jenko but they said they were Doug and Brad they were looking for this drug going around that makes you trip balls. Anyways after doing there stuff there was this mad shoot out between those two and this biker gang buying the mad drugs turns out the P.E teacher was cooking up the dope. It was pretty insane. And pretty much every high schol is like that

High school sucks. It sucks even more when you're an obnoxious little freshman. Don't try to act tough or like you're better than everyone else because that is a sure way to make high school hell for 4 years.

And remember to skip at least twice a month in the winter to go skiing and don't take school too seriously.

When I was a Freshman (2 years ago), there were new administrators that came into the school the same year I went into high school. That same year, Pep Rally at my school turned from a very fun time to a really terrible spirit week for the next upcoming school year (sophomore year for me). What went down was this: the senior class had a radio-flyer wagon float, typical "go home freshmen" chanting, they got mad at my class for "taking their class color" (but they didn't choose it for spirit week), then people got hurt. One girl got cut in the head & got stitches and everyone else got trampled. The administrators were pissed.

Then toward the end of my Sophomore year (this past school year), a terrible public speaker came to talk to Juniors and Seniors about making decisions. It sounded like an assembly for 5th graders, but it was the perfect storm for some funny moments, not to mention it was on the same week as prom. I was at the assembly (mainly because I was in a class full of upperclassmen), the speaker was Miss New York and she was a turbonerd.

Oh middle school... before you find out just how shitty the real world is. Your highschool experience honestly depends where you go. I have friends that went to a private school and would only occasionally party but went hard with alcohol when they did. I went to a large public highschool where there were shitloads of friend groups to join in with. There were parties most weekends but not all were equal. I can vividly remember this house party that was sounded like a sweet idea. I went with like 4 friends and when we got there it was packed with people. Plenty of alcohol and weed for all. We noticed some weird ass dudes we had never seen before but made nothing of it. Later on those dudes decided to literally call up their friend who brought blow and thats when I left. One of my friends stayed and is now addicted painkillers. Moral of the story is highschool can be fun but remember that you can party the rest of you life so there is no need to fuck up early on and ruin the rest of it.

Sparknotes: Went to party-Friend did blow-Now addicted to pain killers-Don't party too hard

In my experience, the only freshman that ever really got picked on were the ones that went out of their way to show everyone how cool they were

Just don't do anything to attract an excessive amount of attention to yourself

You mean seniors pick on freshman...

and yes, but in a fun/kidding manner. And usually you only get picked on if the seniors know you...which means you play sports and so practice or play with seniors...or you have an older sibling.

as far as the alcohol and weed...yes.

don't worry about high school...ten years after you graduate you'll look back and say.."why did I give a fuck?"

depends where you go to school. i went to a small semi private hs, so no one really bullied outside of each grade. there's def lots of weed, and a few parties.

Sounds like your class is going to go real far in life.
Op, highschool is fun while you're there, but then you leave and you'll never want to go back. Enjoy your time there, try to rail as many girls as possible, and make as many friends as your antisocial self can, and then the second you graduate make sure you never look back, because that's when you realize that place was a shithole

yes most weekend somebody is going to have a party with people smoking and drinking. if thats your scene, go for it, if its not, then don't go.

Lol it was the two grades ahead of me. Either way, we didn't take the assembly seriously because the speaker provided false facts, promoted a singing career for herself, sang to get out attention, and sang opera to seduce some guys on stage.

All in all, she was terrible at public speaking and was a huge flunk, but one of my friends sat in the audience on their phone looking at bikini pics of her on the internet (she was kinda hot).

Also, on a side note, she was the runner-up Miss New York; the real Miss New York became Miss America (but that's none of my business).
