K2 Shreditor 102 Skis

Any Thought?? Debating on Getting a pair of 179's. Looking at them because they got a 102cm Waist width so there good for all mountain but there also good in park I hear. Just wondering how Stiff they are cause I don't want them too stiff. I like a playfull ski but not something like the Al Dente's. I am on the Elan puzzle's right now which are only 87 under foot. If I get them I plan on putting a pair of Marker Baron's on them So I have the option of doing some touring.
Thoughts????

definitely not a noodle but not super stiff either. i have a pair of 189 and i like them a lot. soft enough to butter but will still carve well on groomers and hold on ice

Such fun skis and they hold up fine on deep days but obviously moguls are not their strong point

Great all mountain ski. Not a noodle but not super stiff either. They actually float surprisingly well, and do great in all conditions except solid ice, which is to be expected

shreditor 102 are very flexy i have a pair and they butter super easily. They are just as soft if not more than the al dente

Sorry my friend but I've ridden Al Dente's and there's nothing as soft as them.

demo'd both in 176 al dente and shreditor 102
id say the shreditor was more flexy, maybe because of its tail rocker? but it pressed easy and butter easy. more then any other ski ive skied. great in 50cms pow, floats pops and jibs everything, not bad for weight either

Well depending on where you live 102 isn't gonna be great for touring. The 112 would be more ideal. But I've heard the 112 is softer. Also hiking bindings aren't too fun in the park. Hiking is fun don't get me wrong but I'd look for more a park friendly binding.

Oh there really is. The al dente gets a rep of bein a super soft ski but actually underfoot it's more a mid stiffness. As long as you are not too nose heavy you can really rip on them.

they certainly are. Stiffened up a little from the kung fujas, but still fairly stiff underfoot so they should do you well.
