so i just watched afterlame by Robotfood. Its a snowboard movie but its fucking amazing! its such a chill movie, its not about showing off everything each rider can do, its more about just riding and having fun. I suggest everyone check it out because i think we need to see some more ski movies like this movie and less that try to cram as many tricks in as possible.

^yeah I know what you mean. A lot of the movies are just packed with tricks, which is good but perhaps it would be good to just slow them down a little and space them out like they do with surfing movies. So you get an insight into the lifestyle not just the pure footage.

dude you know nothing...skis movies invented that style. It got boring so they switched to how it is now. Then robotfood comes along being the dorks that they are and does it that way and now shit heads like you are like 'wow, everyone needs to do that!' No one needs to do anything. Let ski companies do what they want to do, that way they are being original.

^ Yeah I have seen plenty of Warren Miller films and I know a lot of people critise them for sometimes going over the top trying to tell a 'story'. All I'm trying to say is that its good that today's n'newschool' films have a lot of footage crammed into them but it would be good if there were a bit mnore to them. Doesn't necessarily have to be in the actual film but perhaps in the extras section.

If you like that kind of stuff, check out High Five and Soul Purpose. Two of the best movies this year.
