Adam Delorme has without a doubt one of the most unique and incredible styles on skis. With footage courtesy of Level 1 Productions "Partly Cloudy" we want you to download the raw video file, chop, cut and re edit it any way you like. Upload the video to Youtube and submit it to the contest. Share your video with your friends and collect as many votes as possible. We will award the winner with an Adam Delorme jacket and pant combo. Contest submissions and voting end August 8th.
Well here is my entry everyone! Put it to some Hendrix to open it up and some Atmosphere to close it. I think i did a decent job on this keeping it more cinematic and movie based considering it came from a movie.
Saga.NS alone has a ton of members. If this community of people can't band together to choose the right winner thats pretty sad.
But at the end of the day this contest was really designed to let anyone who wanted a chance to edit with world class video footage. Something most will never get to do.
Yeah I wasn't really complaining about it I was just shocked to see that many votes already.

So this is probably a dumb question but i think it'd be good if it was clarified...is the winning video solely based on votes? Or only partially? Personally I think that the voting shouldn't be the main focus of the contest...
I was enjoying the first minute of it and I thought it was going to pick up with the song, but it just stayed the same. Loved the first minute and you're probably the only person who i've enjoyed from the get go, but it just didn't go anywhere. Also loved the fresh feel of the edit and not being like all the other edits. Just try and get a better song.

Not sure if it'll disqualify me or not but I used some scenery stock footage of my own during the first few seconds...Either way, here it is. Watch in HD and use some headphones/speakers..
Did you guys ever consider he has up votes because his edit was good? 100 votes is insignificant compared to everyone on newschoolers. If you guys think it's bad vote for someone else's edit. Simple as that.

I want to see someone slow down the slowmo, use that brYan gallant editing technique where he uses the Hype WIlliams seizure cuts to a beat, and edit out every single landing before presenting 3 more minutes of b-roll with natural sound.
