I’m 5’ 7” 140lbs and have been riding the recoil for three years now.
Do the FR’s hold up on the east coast? Or are they more of a west coast park/all-mountain ski? They look like they have a lot of rocker.

BWalmerI've been rocking the FR since the original model (11/12 season) on the east coast. They kill it, event though there's a lot of rocker, the camber underfoot still helps keep an edge hold on firm snow and are ok on super icy days (let's face it...no ski really holds well on east coast icy days). The durability is awesome for a rail heavy east coast skier (I ski over 80 days a season, mostly rails, by the end of the season they're in amazing condition and can easily last another season or two. I highly recommend them for someone on the east coast, you'll really enjoy them.

NUSSC_FreestyleAh fking internet, sorry about dub post and then another. If you are worried about there being too much rocker you can always go for the Prester as its full camber. Im looking to get a set for this season too.

CONAIR_BUSCEMII have the 169 recoil’s, which I believe the true length tip to tail is around 173/174. What is the effective edge of a 169 k2 recoil compared to the 171 and 176 FR’s.
BWalmerI went from 169 Domains to 171 FRs...big mistake, I found the 176 to be the right size for me and I'm sure they're probably what you'll want to. And the FR has elliptical rocker (so it' doesn't go by percentage really), but it has a lot more rocker than Recoils, that's for sure.
CONAIR_BUSCEMIThanks, I’m just unsure if I should buy them. I can’t get over how much rocker they have and the fact that the 176 skis about a 155.
