Replying to What went through your head on your very last run of the year?
Some peoples final runs may have came as a surprise due to an injury, others may have gotten to ski a full season, opening to closing chair, 100+ days. For those who knew it was going to be their last run of the year, weather it be from a torn mcl or riding down from closing chair, what went through your head on those final rail hits and slushy spring turns?
For myself it hadn't even hit me until I came up to the very last feature in the park. The last rail I was going to hit for 6 months was right in front of me, and I took every second of it in. It wasn't anything special, I just launched over the whole thing with a little shifty tail tap on the end, big heavy head on the landing, probably looked like a fool but god damn it felt so good.
I thought this would be an interesting question, its just not something I've heard people talk about before. Curious to see what you guys have to say! Thanks fo readin brah
