Dont cancel any plans because it's raining. Rain actually makes it faster which is nice.
Go for a few days if you can, if you only go for a day you'll just start to get used to the surface then you'll be leaving.
Wear long sleeves and pants. It's like getting mad turf burn if you fall without them. If it's hot and you don't wanna wear long sleeves get some tall socks and cut off the top part and use those to cover your elbows. Also wear gloves.
If you don't need to use poles, don't. It's annoying on the rope tow in my opinion.
The jumps are awesome. You can send them as deep as you want. You can knuckle and it doesn't feel like anything so depending on your skill level, try to hit a bigger jump than you would on snow.
