_J.T.well thats the thing, my shop cant even even set the forward pressure on my bindings, instead they just turn up the din, they cant even trim my climbing skins correctly! all im wondering is how to slide the frame off from the track. im not trying to take the baseplate off
tomPietrowskiFind a new shop.
But it really in not sure what you are asking. When you put the ski into tour mode and lift the heel you can take the binding off the ski by removing the toe screws. Is tht what you want to do?
_J.T.ok so the thin piece of springy metal that holds the locking mechanism (the little switch) in ski mode is bent the opposite way than what it is supposed to be. so the little switch sticks part way up which allows the binding to freely slide from alpine mode to touring mode.
tomPietrowskiHow old are they? That is something whic you will probably need marker to fix. It's unlikely they will send the part to an individual as you trying to fix them yourself is not a good idea. Your best bet is to take them to an authorized marker dealer and let them take a look. if they can be fixed that shop may be able to get the parts and fix them or they can sen them to marker.
_J.T.they are 2010 or 2011, so theyve had a lot of wear and tear.
tomPietrowskiWell yeah out of warrenty then. Honestly my best advice is to take them to a marker dealer. You could try to contact marker yourself but it will be much easier for a shop to do it.
I had had a similar situation last season. A customer had some f12's where the toe piece had deformed so the afd screw moved around. Marker sent is out a new toe housing and it was no super expensive. I would think yours is easier you just need a shop to do the work.
