.Asain-SkiierWhat company do you think has done the most for skiing as a whole? Newschoolers is at the top of the list but I'd like to hear what you guys think. SO what company has given the most back?
HolteThis question is vastly too broad for anyone other than a skiing historian to answer accurately since skiing manufacturers date back 150 years and "skiing as a whole" covers numerous, numerous sports which have a considerably older history than modern freeskiing.
If the question is narrowed down to "what company has done the most since the emergence of freeskiing in the late 90s?" the answer is Salomon. Based on their funding of events, movies, athletes, early development of freestyle equipment, and the 1080 ski, a lot of us would be snowboarders if it wasn't for Salomon.

steezerampageJust so everyone is clear. Making the first twin tip ski does not mean anything about doing the most for skiing or giving back. Those decisions were made to make money. Doing something for skiing would be sponsoring a project like Idea. Giving back would be something like sponsoring old guys past their prime.
.FRY.I'm gonna say go pro. I feel like they almost advertise the sport in a way.
