Line Afterbang vs. Armada Al dente

Hey guys...I want to buy a new pait of skis and I can't decide between al dente or afterbang. I love doing butters, I ski 50% rails, 50% jumps and a little pow some times...yeah al dente is better for pow...pls help me...pls debate and talk about cons and pros about the different skis..

the only reason you should even consider the a bang in this decision is if cost is a primary concern. otherwise, no question about it, al dente

You have picked two very differnt skis. The ab is a traditional park ski style so narrower. This will make it easier to throw tricks on but obviously not as good in fresh snow.

Tge he dente is a fat basically all mnt ski. They rip around the mountain really well but you do need to upsize to get the most out of them which means they are a little big and heavy for serious park use.

So you need to decide what your primary desire for these skis are. Do you want a park ski or a more all mnt ski. let us know this and we can suggest some skis to take a look at.

omg i wanna ski like dollo help me find a ski that does that, i need to nose butter cork 12 by the end of tha season pls help me! pls!

I saw all of the Armada vids were Dollo takes the al dente to the streets and the park....so what is better for butters and street skiing and are the al dente really so good or is it just a company hype

Afterbangs will not perform anywhere near how well the al dente will perform

You can for sure use them for urban and park but remember Henrik is a very very good skier. He could rip on any ski pretty much. Now if your not quite at henriks level yet you will find something a bit narrower and therefor lighter will help. If you want something buttery but still for park look at the thall or maybe even the bdog.

Ive skied the al dente for about half a season.. and if your not so experienced when it comes to skiing you should consider another park ski, armada, 4frnt, atomic, k2, j skis, on3p, it's an ocean of wonderful skis! Don't lock down on two skis it's so much more out there

honestly I've heard good things about the al dente and haven't heard anything about the afterbangs after line redesigned them, both look sick but are completely different, but i definitely think the al dentes will be more durable but also more expensive. Check out other brands too, like ON3P, Nordica, Atomic etc. or even other skis from Line and Armada, good luck

Yo next season you might want to consider the faction candide 1.0s or the 2.0s. No one I know had any luck with Armada durability this year, including myself. Faction has a better reputation with durability than Armada, and when I broke my Armadas it took them 7.5 weeks to warrantee them. The faction 1.0s will have some rocker next year if thats what your looking for, if you're looking for fat skis with rocker the 2.0s should do ya. I wouldn't leave On3p out of consideration either, I heard they're durability is on point too.

The armada durability thus year is true.. The reason I stopped skiing the al dente was because I chipped the nose real bad, cracked and ripped of the steal edge on the side and under my binding I actually managed to loosen up the surface so the whole binding hanged loose. The al dente wasn't so durable, at least not for me
