RubberSoulgreat skiing but we really gotta drop the whole "some people are drawn to the edge maaan" stuff. just let the footage do the talking
SessionAnd now starts the annual NS bitch fest about ski films having any kind of narration.
RockNRollNghtClbhahaha shut up, that intro was so fucking cheesy and you know it,
footage was insane tho

SkibumsmithThis. Intro was a fucking joke. I was talking to my computer screen saying "Alright take it easy Warren Miller."

*DUMBCAN*We don't hate all narration, but TGR films have been saying the same thing in different words in just about every movie. That says, it probably sells to gapers...
GrendelsStoked for this film to come out!
Also a quite welcome surprise to see Chris Laker in the mix. I though him and P. White had stopped filming and were only going to do it with The Big Picture.

CrutchKillerQuestion: Is this the worst use of a survey in a thread ever?
Answer: Yes
of course it's gonna be cool you jabroni
bikerockerEveryone must have huge forearms from being so gripped all the time.
homestarNick Mcnutt's segment was insane. It was probably my favorite TGR movie since Light the Wick.
RubberSoulwho else was a stand out? did ian mac have a segment?
homestarHe didn't. Angel Collinson had a really sick opening segment. Sage killed it too. Nick McNutt was on another level from everyone else though.
nickmcnuttFor those of you who saw the screening at IF3 last night, keep in mind that due to the time constraints of the showings, many films were shown in a shortened version. The full length version of Almost Ablaze is nearly twice as long and definitely includes Ian Mac, Sages AK shots, and a Selkirk Tangiers Heli segment among other things. Thanks for the stoke!
