617freeskierI've had HORRIBLE experiences with Salomon bindings in the past to the extent I refuse to ever purchase them again. Pretty much to the point that I wont even buy any Salomon products anymore. My last Salomon was the 1080 Space frame in 161 way back in the day lol.
ZachAndCheeseJesters are by far my favorite charger/ pow day binding. I would only look at the pivots if you had knee problems due to claims by some that the pivots are "better for your knees".

tomPietrowskiSth stands for steel track housing. That means the track which holds the heel piece is steel. The rest of the sth2 13 and 16 and the sth 12,14 and 16 are mainly plastic just like nearly every other binding out there, including the fks 140. This does not make them un durable they are the same bindings used by many top pros It just that metal is overkill most of the time.
The sth16 steel is a full steel version of the sth16 or really the old s916. It is very heavy and bomb prof however will work just the same as any sth but you will not be able to break them ever. But not many pros even ride them. Only Seth, windsted and Cody use tem on the solly team so this should indicate what type of use they are intended for.
Sh4dowWhy do you need 18 DIN bindings? Are you 300 pounds? Do you huck 80 foot cliffs? Do you want a broken leg? Are you a gaper who likes to look like a pro and wants a broken leg? It has to be one of those four options. I doubt your DIN is much above the low end on Pivot 18s and you should get bindings with your DIN setting around the middle of that binding's range, it's more accurate that way.
ShaolinTangmarker stoppers are just basically crap.. the binding is good, but the stoppers are horrible!!
617freeskierI weigh 180lbs and ski a DIN of 12. Also bindings with higher din settings tend to be more durable (long lasting)
