cydwhitBeen meaning to ask you, can you give any kind of comparison of the Mordecai/Bacon to the ON3P Kartel 106?
Quite differnt. The Lines are lighter with a less defined rocker. The early rise gives a ski with a more tradional edge feel meaning you may not have to ski them as long. They both will blast through crud but the On3p will feel a little heavier. Neither will be bad in a ny way though, they are two of my fav skis
Carl_the_LlamaThe only issue I have with the mordecai/bacon/magnum opus on paper is the base and edge thickness... Looks like they got rid of the fatty base/edge? Feel like that could be an issue hiting an occasional rock, or (heaven forbid) the odd rail...
This is obviously somthing which will not show up in a few runs and yeah I will be interested to see how they hold up. I hoping to have them for an indepth test soon

Interesting, for me I guess that means Kartels are better for work where I'm hauling all my camera gear and don't want to goof around or get bucked whereas Line would be a more fun ski for playing, probably still gunning for Kartels then.. Thanks!

maybe actually the pother way round. The Lines are really stable and consistent and being so light they would offset all your other gear. The kartels would be more fun just goofing around on and would be my choice as a more playfull ski. I would go Mordecai as my freeride ski (everday powder ski) and kartels as my all mnt ski (everyday ski some park some pow)
Sam__MDon't get me wrong, I like the direction they are going as well, but i'm just saying it seems like a bit of a risky decision seeing as though the T-Wall and B&E are some of their top selling boots. that said I am glad to see them growing out of their "park boot" stigma.
oh for sure, they're just trying to appeal to more customers and skiers with different fits and tastes in ski boots. im sure they'll make just as much and probably more if all types of skiers are buying all their models, and not just their top selling ones.

Does anyone know where to find pics/vid of their entire 2016 lineup? All I can seem to find is stuff about their descendant. And the couple of pics in the SIA article on here
Bummed that the new shell is only offered in the 102mm last. I liked the redesign a lot, and thought they would have had at least one original last boot with the redesign. Any reason 102mm needs it more than a 99mm last?
parkplaygroundive double checked the thread, and maybe I missed it, but does anyone know the dalbello lineup for next year?
basically the same as this year with slightly different colors, and the addition of the lupo TI which has tech fittings, but a rockered sole, so it wont work in standard alpine bindings but maybe a WTR. And the lupo and lupo ti have different buckles for better touring.

Rossi is pretty much the same, just w few color changes on their big name skis. Still no word on the ski that Parker white and Chris Logan have been on lately. Rossi changed the toe piece on the fks I believe, and I didn't see their new boots.

Just thought I'd chime in on this to say that I've been on the '16 Bacon for about a month now and I'll have an in depth review coming within the next month or so!
Sorry if somebody asked already, I may have missed it but does anyone have the 15/16 Armada catalog I have seen the SIA video but I I'm looking to see next years pipe cleaners I have a basic idea of what they are like after seeing torin on them but I dont know if i should get this years and my other skis in time for windells or wait and get next years if they are super sick I will wait.

I'm really hoping it comes out next season. That said, I've heard it's still in the prototype/testing stage, which would explain why it wasn't at SIA. It is definitely not a Sickle.I love my Sickles but it might be time for something new. It almost looks like a Helldorado in terms of sidecut. I've also heard it's called the Slat BC, so it's most likely a very similar rocker profile to the Slat (awesome). I just hope it's a bit stiffer, more like the Sickle's flex.
