Bibby Pro & Ghost Train
Bibby Pro will get semi-cap construction and goes back to the old and awesome design.
Ghost Train is unchanged except graphics.
Normal Bibby Pro on the left. On the right is the same ski but with different graphics that is a colab with BasecampX, on of Bibbys sponsors. Only available if you order them with some crazy big axe.
Underworld on the left, unchanged except graphics.
Exit World on the right. EW will get 'Triple camber flat rocker'. So it becomes a true powder touring machine. Reason for the rocker/camber change is that the Bibby is back to the old design and the new touring model the Tallac.
Governor on the left and the new touring model the Tallac on the right.
Basically the Tallac is a narrow version of the Governor shape combined with the low fat layup to lose some weight.
Tallac:
176cm: 130-104-118, 19m radius
186: 13-104-118, 22m radius
7.9 lbs for 186cm version
Deathwish on the left and Belafonte on the right. Deathwish gets semi-cap construction, same shape. Belafonte is unchanged.
Tahoe on the left and PB&J on the right. Both unchanged models except that the PB&J gets semi-cap construction.
Frankenski on the left and Vice on the right. Frankenski gets semi-cap construction, not shure about the Vice, I'll report back later.
Ladies models are unchanged except graphics. I'll upload images later.
Youth models: Carson and Zephyr, unchanged. Carson gets the Tahoe graphic and the Zephyr the Belafonte graphics.
bdowningJust picked up the 15/16 Tecnica Mach1 120 from my local shop the other day. Belief is the structure of the boot and liner is the same, although the company may have restructured the sole. Digging the updated color combo. Couldn't be more excited about the fit and feel of this boot and cannot wait to get them on snow this weekend.
I was wondering if there were any changes to this boot. I have the 13/14 Mach 130 and the CAS liner is amazing. I was very hesitant buying a tecnica boot after all the heal slippage issues I had once the boot packed out, but they have figured it out and I'm sold on them again!
yunghopperOther then the Mesa print, I can firmly say after seeing the line that Saga wasn't thinking during the design process. A lot of the styles are nice, but I see many colorways and prints that scream wack to me. I'm sure it'll be a successful year for them however.
If you want to lead an industry you have to set the trends. Some of the stuff we make always makes some people question us but at the end of the day just about everything we make sells out and is copied by other brands the following years.
spencedubsAnybody see anything from full tilt on the more popular boots (ie wallisch boot, B&E, Dropkick, or booter)?
Unfortunately there will be only classic in two color ways(black and orange), first chair(10(seth),8 and 6) and descendant line in flexes 4, 6 and 8 + women's boots. No more drop kick, TWall or B&E.

Usually I'm not impressed with this guy's posts, but I was thinking the exact same thing. Many of the prints are incredibly Neff reminiscent, with bright neon colors and flashy designs. As I said previously though, the more subtle items are definitely more unique in their own right.
Actually dude you are about 6 years late..Aztec/South Western prints started getting big back in 2008 in the SEC greek community. It finally caught on when Patagonia started re-introducing Aztec Synchillas in about 2011. Your shit is weak bruh
Armada This year had a tropical theme on their Anorak that looks remarkably like your 2016 jacket.. I'd go as so far to say, y'all are directly copying them.
Please tell me next yr you are also collabing with Mossy Oak to make a Mossy Oak inspired line of outerwear!!!

Best Bibby graphic to date? BasecampX pair looks insane too!

Let's just say there have been more people from other brands coming near our booth and putting eyes on what we're making than we have been going to any one else's.

You actually copied everyone this year. The floral trend: started around 2011 and was the coolest thing to wear if you were a hip girl or guy. Nearly every brand has floral now and you guys were late by even starting last year. Joggers: another trend that started a couple years ago to show your sneakers. Now joggers are literally everywhere even at target plus jiberish has done them already too. Quilted outerwear: um have you ever heard of Bloom? Hockey jerseys: Tomahawk has had one in the exact same color-way for two years now. Quilted bomber: jiberish did that first too.
I am not a hater but when you said "at the end of the day just about everything we make sells out and is copied by other brands the following years." That pissed me off

Who is saying those are the styles were referring to when we say we set the trends? There's more to setting a trend than just a color or pattern.

Realtalk
Sorry saga Keith just flamed yo ass with the truth
Nordica has some great looking skis as per usual. Does anybody know if Evan is planning on making more edits happen this year? I've also been wondering if they'll get some new team members, especially since they've dropped so many of their older dudes recently

I couldn't agree more with Chief. With the recent pictures/videos coming out of SIA I've been having a lot of discussion with friends regarding the brand and the styles it's coming out with. The general consensus amongst many of my peers is that Saga in a lot of respects is just becoming another mainstream brand, drifting away from the "grounded" freestyle outerwear that we once saw 4 or 5 years ago. I guess that's just all a part of growing up.
In regards to setting "trends" you're right in the regard about a color or pattern. But when you combine the fact that many of your styles combined with "colors" and "patterns" especially in your apparel line are reminiscent of many other brands, which has been highlighted by ChiefKeith that doesn't make you a "trend setter" it makes you a laggard.
All this compounded by the fact that I'm seeing a whole host of 45 year old men and 12 year old boys wearing many of the more "louder" color ways makes the case for your brand even worse.
I've loved you're brand for many years and I remember some of the first outerwear I bought was a full anomie suit. But until there is a change, my money is going elsewhere.
Saga has started to become cheap in my mind in terms of quality. They should just stick to what they're good at which is making dope jackets, pants, and hoodies. The mittens and facemasks don't seem to be very well made IMO. The jackets with the fat logos that look like they were just slapped on there make it seem cheap as well. Seems like it has become a quantity over quality thing. Also, the busy/ugly patterns seem do seem like a pretty neff move.
I've seen Saga comment multiple times on here with comebacks saying, "that pattern/piece sells out." I guess selling and making the most money has become the priority.

this kind of sums up my thoughts. I bought a pair of anomie pants last month and think that a lot of the fatigue and monarch stuff shown at sia this year looks good but the fact that they keep saying that shit really makes me not want to support them anymore. I guess Ns'ers aren't their target demographic anymore, were just haters now.

LinoutdoorAll the gear I have seen so far looks expensive, especially when most ski companies seem to be making more touring based products
Usually, the first items to get covered are the "latest and greatest" innovations the industry has been working on over the last couple of years. Every major brand will have the super fancy wow stuff and also cheaper less expensive versions. The cheaper stuff isn't really covered during these quick product intros, but you'll see it in shops for sure and/or if a detailed range interview is taken.
What have Moment done to the Deathwish graphic! The 2014/2015 was one of my favourite graphics ever, however maybe the photo quality doesn't do the new "blacked out" design justice. Would love if someone were to share a catalog with me!
New Gear is looking sick! Really wish I could find an excuse for my wallet to get a deep pow ski like the Cease & Desist, Ghost Train or the Praxis Protest, but the ski season in Europe has been poor to say the least. Dumping down now though, but only when I'm in the city away from the mountains

I dunno, yeah the old Deathwish was super dope, but that new black on black is reeeeeeaaaaaal good looking in person, maybe I'm just biased toward blacked out top-sheets though.
