Sh4dowNot sure if troll... It's by Sundance, not Brighton. I doubt anyone is even working at Brighton right now, it's July.
find a friend, drive up there with your skis, step out of your car, look. If it's not obvious hike up and check out the conditions. Worst case scenario you get out and do a hike, best case you get to do a July ski.
Not trying to be a dick to you specifically but damn everyone wants to have their hand held and all the necessary beta shove d down their throat by the internet/ guides/ guidebooks. Sometimes not knowing and having to rely on your own judgement is a good thing.
Get off your ass and have an adventure (obv. avy conditions, weather, and other safety concerns are an exception)
there was still a bit around brighton (and some ski tracks) when i hiked it a couple weeks ago, but it's been pretty hot since then so no idea if there's anything left
@IMDT, it's not very close to where I live, it's not worth the drive if I can't ski, and the snow would only be high up on the mountain. I probably wouldn't be able to tell if there's enough snow without a very long hike, and I really don't want to hike a few hours with ski gear if there ends up not being enough snow.
Re: webcam suggestions, I believe Sundance is lower on the mountain so it wouldn't tell me anything.
@Dylan if Brighton still had snow just a few weeks ago I think chances are high that Timpanogos still will considering people usually go there, not Brighton, for summer/fall skiing. Thanks for the info
i live on the backside of guardsmans/wasatch state park area with a perfect view of ol timpy from my house and there is for sure some spots in the high elevations. mostly near the ridgeline, would be quite the hike.

Do you know the area well? Any suggestion on where to park, where to hike from, etc? Also, what side of the mountain is best for skiing? (north/south/east/west, I don't know anything about the mountain so I won't recognize any other description) Thanks.

I would highly suggest hiking the snow field once you get to Emerald Lake. I wanted to summit, but the summit hike, with skis on your back, sucks cock. And the trek over to the top of the snow field is not much better. Snow has melted out from the top too, so you have to do some serious scrambling to get down.

15 miles round trip for me. 10 hours. 4,800'.

gunsight at alta probably has one more day of decent skiing, very thin, very easy hike. its like 30 minutes from where you park all the way at the top of lcc, and you will see it driving up.

in the summer you can keep driving to the bottom of supreme, park there or park at the top of sunnyside in that parking lot, head up the access road that climbs the mountain from the bottom of sugarloaf lift. the patch is literally as wide as your turns but goes for a while, if you dont go tomorrow it might not be worth it.
There is definitely still snow on Mount Timpanogos, I drove past it two days ago. I am going to Alta today and Mount Timpanogos in a few days, I will report back.
