If you have a girlfriend who skis, that just means you have I bring her with you and ski stuff with her. Less freedom and in lots of cases, girls who's "ski sometimes" aren't the best so you are stuck doing that. No park hot laps

Of course! I'd rather prefer a girlfriend who doesn't know how to ski and will be the one to teach her. It will be our great way of dating, and.....if ever we brake up, at least she will always have a piece of remembering me whenever shes on the slope. :D :D

Of course I would. My girlfriend only goes 1-2 a year. You don't have to do everything together. That's when couples start to hate each other. I always ski with friends and don't always want her there. Plus she goes slow as shit!

You need a girl who either 1) rips and can keep up or 2) doesn't ski and is fine with you going out with the boys to rip and DOESN'T try to tag along. There is very little middle ground between the two.

I have a really good friend who absolutely rips and is at the same level if not better than me, but i never see her when we aren't skiing due to her going to boarding school. I'd much rather date her than someone who doesn't ski, but i'd be fine with teaching a girl to ski if she was willing to try and learn.

Precisely. Especially in Girdwood where the pool of attractive women is small/nonexistent so your assessment of the costs involved are severely tinted.

Having said that, I don't ski anymore, so yes. Absolutely.

And you're probably single on top of that. Why would you limit yourself like that?

Yeah it would be cool to have a gf that shreds and that can come out with you once in a while, but having a gf that knows your passion and gives you time to do what you love is arguably better.

Plus, sometimes I need skiing to get away from the real world and if I have a gf who needs to ski with you at all times, it's not a very good escape anymore.
