john18061806eheath's argument about pro's being able to bail because they're more experienced is a terrible excuse, shit happens and it can happen to anyone. Skiing is like sex, if you don't use protection you'll end up sending a fuckton of money in the mail once a month (hospital bills). just because you can pull out because you are experienced doesn't mean that you won't knock her up
Once you know how to fall, you know how to fall. I've cranked my head with and with out my helmet on and honestly it hurts ether damn way. Also you can take a lot bigger hit that you think you can, look at every kind of pro, from skiing to MX, to biking, to skating people can take hits. Your break your wrist once, your never going to stick your arm out again to catch your fall, shit like that. Also, like EHeath said, if you know you can do it, your going to land that trick 90% time. This sport is about confidence and awareness, along with skill, obviously, the times you do put on a helmet is when your dropping that new, or feeling uncomfortable. Friends, including myself claim they ski better when they don't have a helmet on due to it being more comfortable. Think about it, if you have a wedgie are you comfortable? are you going to ski well? I don't ski well when I'm uncomfortable, Damn I dont ski well if my shirt size is to small and I can feel the wind coming up my back. You gotta do you, stop worrying about other people, because these guys not wearing the helmets def don't care about you ragging on them for not having them
