jkellyToss it back hard, you can worry about slowing yourself down after you know your going to make it all the way around. There's nothing worse than knowing your going straight to your back, especially if it's a large feature. Don't forget to bring your head around, you don't want to be in the "trying to suck your own dick" position and land on your back/neck.
