Tom Morello Appreciation Thread

This guy is one of my idols in the guitar playing world. He's insane. Some of the stuff you hear him play doesn't even sound like it comes from a guitar. Examples:

After Morello left audioslave, he worked on a solo project called The Nightwatchman. It's not his usual stuff but it's still pretty good.

Tom was my favorite back when he was in rage. But after the lead singe left they had no other choice but to disperse and form audioslave. I'm still pretty stoked though that they got back together a couple years ago and have been touring off and on.

well i wouldnt classify his stuff as "insane". he's very creative, and i like the guy, no doubt, but his guitar playing isn't overly technical. lots of his solo's i find myself wanting more. like a stone is a great song but the solo in that is brutal. just a bunch of quarter notes and a few triplets with a little wahhhhh screetch. i wanna hear that guy SHRED more than i want to hear the tonal effects..
