Yo just trying to get some info from some locals about the parks in Cali/Tahoe... Ive been skiing in Colorado the past few years and I think its time to check out what Cali has goin down. This year Im trying to find a nice mountain with a good park. Im open to info about any mountain but Ive been looking a lot at squaw, mammoth, and northstar. Other threads havent been as helpful as I hoped so just wondering what mountain you guys think has the best park? I hear northstar is top notch but Ive also heard their jumps are small so Im also wondering where I can find some pro level size jumps? Appreciate the help maybe Ill run into some of yall this upcoming season.

Move to Mammoth so you get a long season and you can periodically trip it up to Tahoe. Or vice versa. You're going to have a good time living in either North lake/Truckee or Mammoth Lakes. I've still yet to visit a mountain with hot laps like chair 6 at Mammoth though. Even on the busiest weekends chair 6 isn't too bad and the park is always a blast. The few times I've been to Northstar I have had bad experiences with lift lines but it's a really fun park as well. Much longer park than Main or South Park at Mammoth though. Can't go wrong with either.

Squaw will sometimes have bigger jumps set up at the end of the season depending on snow levels. Alpine is my favorite because of the vibe and less crowded than squaw. Northstar/heav/kirkwood is a good pass, the star and heav kill even on bad snow years but heav can get icy real quick. Really anywhere in tahoe is gonna be basically the same. If you're looking to get the most out of your season i would get a job in truckee and ride northstar; they're usually pretty set up constantly throughout the year.

KSL killed Alpines park program. the best you'll find there is a 15 ft flat rail 8" off the ground. and squaw's park is a let down 8/10 times. in the tahoe area N. Star is the way to go for park. but Mammoth ALWAYS kills it.
